I have read some posts this afternoon about cars being towed today at the Oakleaf Expo and wanted everyone to know that I, the sole Organizer of OUR Community Event had absolutely NOTHING to do with cars being towed today. There is parking on both sides of the school across the street. Ms Wyant, the school principal, has graciously allowed us to utilize the parking lots for our event.The one thing that I have asked CCSO to watch for is people parking on the grass at the school so that their irrigation is not broken or damaged which has happened in the past. I want everyone to know that I have organized this event by myself and it has taken me 5 years to build it up to what it is today. When negative comments are being made about the community we live in and/or a community event, it hurts us all. Over half of the vendors are our neighbors sharing with everyone what they do. I think for the most part everyone enjoys coming out with their kids and families for a fun filled day. A Special Thank You to all of our High School volunteers. You guys/girls are the BEST! You sweated and worked so hard and no one complained. Lisa Tomasino, Thank You for all of your help today. I couldnt have done it without you. Vendors, You guys are amazing hands down. Thank you for coming out and sharing your gifts and talents with our community. Dan, You did a Fabulous job as always being our DJ. To all of the participants who were in the contests, Way to go!
