I have realized that I have allowed myself to fall into a pit, not all the way in, Thanks to God who is always there to catch me, but this time He threw me a life line in the version of a wonderful sweet friend this morning!! To remind me of things, and she didnt even have to actually speak them but I got them anyway. God has chosen me for this path I am walking. He chose to call Kevin and Jarod home in His time, not mine and I could safely say not theirs either. But this is my life now, and it is up to me to make it or break it or lose my mind!! I would much prefer to make it, and make it the very best I can for and when I do that then it makes it better for everyone around me. I will have an empty nest, well other than my fur baby, as of this weekend. And I can not tell you how proud I am that Sara is spreading her wings and I didnt have to push her out of the nest she is fling out on her own!!! But I can not help but think that this was suppose to be the time in my and Kevins life together when we would start to enjoy OUR life together , focusing on each other. NO we would not forget about our children or grand girls, that could never happen!!! But that was not Gods plan for us, So now I will go into a new season for my life, I would be lying if I said I was not a little scared, but I got this, and really do I have any other choice.!! NOPE!!! It is time to focus on the the positives and try to talk to someone who knows a lot more than me about how best to deal with it all. Kevin always said dont sweat the small stuff, and when I would be stressing or worrying about something, he would ask me, can you fix it or is worrying or stressing over it going to fix it or change things, and I would always so no, and he would say then why are you wasting your time and energy worrying and getting stressed about it. You were right babe!!!! You were right!!!
