I have received a response from The Turtle Conservancy in response to my inquiry about the Aspen Art Museum exhibit. Dear Dan, Thank you for your concern, we did not approve or endorse the installation at the Aspen Art Museum. We were merely asked to give them advice on the captive care of African Spurred Tortoises. We provide anyone who asks with the necessary information to provide the proper environment for their animals. We have since reached out to the AAM and asked them to change their description of our involvement. Again, thank you for your concern.
