I have recently joined a couple of mom swap and sell groups (to keep an eye out for potential studio props) and I am so disheartened that in 2 days I have seen 4 litters of puppies up for sale. Ranging from $0-$600 a puppy. They are sold and then theres obviously an excellent chance that the pups will likely be bred either by accident or sadly, on purpose. I have seen an ad go up, and all the puppies gone by the end of the same day. How is that considered responsible? Tell me all of those people are responsible when they are scooping up a free or inexpensive dog with 5 minutes of thought. Tell me someone who spends $20-$100 on a dog is going to spend the $500 to get it spayed or neutered. You cant. I am sure I will meet some of these dogs in the shelter system shortly. Please people, firstly, spay and neuter your pets, to prevent accidents, and secondly, dont use your beloved pets to supplement your income, it is SELFISH. You are just putting the burden of the expense of these dogs on the already over-taxed shelters and rescues. You may BELIEVE that your pups are going to good homes, but I guarantee that isnt the case for every animal you sell. That life that YOU chose to create has a good chance of ending up neglected, abused, in a shelter (and/or euthanized), and if they are really lucky in a rescue. If you have sold a litter of puppies or kittens, please use the money the have your pet spayed or neutered. This craziness needs to stop. https://youtube/watch?v=nliTCZiNbvc&index=5&list=PLgzLmn401aINE2qVFg949ORvS-KeqJlMo
