I have recently started following Westies In Need on Facebook even though its been almost 3 years since we adopted Keeba through WIN Ottawa. For the first time I feel like there are people who understand my devotion to my dogs. We had a Cocker Spaniel before we owned Westies and she was an amazing and gentle dog, but Westies grab your heart like no other dog Ive owned so far. Is it their tenacity? Their independence? Their aloofness paired with their loyalty? Their sense of humour? Their cuteness? Their selective hearing? Im not sure but whenever I log onto Facebook I am sure to find posts from people who love and get their Westies as much as I do. Thanks from me, Harley and Keeba.
