I have seen lots of things in my travels. But the other night I saw a first. Mainly because I do not go to big events. Although I did see Celine Dion in Kuala Lumpur. I have learned that when you go somewhere in a foreign country to never trust the guys who jump on you first when you get out of a taxi or off a bus. I always walk away and find someone else. When we went to the Matildas game we had to buy from Scalpers. They were everywhere and the Police were among them too. Keeping order....Several scalpers mobbed us when we got out and we did walk a little way before our group bought some tickets from them. When we went to enter the stadium it turned out some of the tickets were for the previous weeks games and other tickets were good photo copies lol. They dont miss a tick to make a buck form tourists. That guy who makes the tv show scam city has not done one here (yet). Not to mention my duty free Ouzo falling off the xray and smashing on the ground when we arrived. I got a shrug of the shoulders for that one.
