I have seen many people writing as if Bangloreans or kannadigas are racists or fanatic people after that incident. It isnt true. Its a incident which may happen anywhere in the world if one tries to act smart with localites. Its matter of common sense and presence of mind. I would like to share an incident , when I was travelling to my native in KSRTC , it was a night journey, there were group of students around 10 to 15, of course not from Karnataka . They were shouting laughing singing without respecting the fellow travelers. Other travelers were silent for few hours it shows their tolerance, but I couldnt tolerate much as I went through a bad day, I stood up and shouted at them and told to be silent. They were silent for another 10 mins and they started again........ this time I was so angry but before I stood up all the other travelers stood up to thrash them they told driver to stop the bus and throw these people out. Thats when the students understood the seriousness and begged us sorry and slept silently throughout the journey. According to police.... similar kind of incident happened with Manipuri students. It was late night , they went to a restaurant they were speaking loudly which disturbed the other customers , who were drunk. They asked them to lower their voice ,the Manipuri guys could have asked sorry and kept quiet and use some common sense but they tried to be smart , they replied some thing in english which these people did not understand and felt offended and thus the consequence. When people in the bus who were not drunk became so aggressive , just imagine the frustration inside a daily wager who is drunk.
