I have seen this before...it tugs at my heart every time. Life is short and so many times people get caught up in what is not important. It is amazing to see the elderly light up when you will take a minute to listen to the memories of their life. They have so much more to give before their journey ends. Many are so lonely and could use a hug or even a smile and nothing as costly but a moment of your time. Yes some are bitter and unhappy, and may complain..but the world would be a better place if we could love unconditionally. Holidays are coming soon...please take time to remember our elderly. Reach out to them..give the gift of a SMILE, HUG, few minutes to spare. The warmth you give will double what you receive in your heart :)
