I have several friends who will be contesting for seats as independents and for various political parties. (On my wall) I will be wishing some special friends who I shared some special moments with during this campaign all the best in coming days for making a brave decision to stand for a political position. It appears easy when we write on Facebook Walls- some young and some not so young - these young men and women (and those not so young lol) had to leave their jobs, their livelihoods and lucrative contracts to change Malawi- they are very young (most of them) and ambitious- and passionate about Malawi. Political party differences will not change the way I feel about them.
