I have some thoughts (imagine that).... Im a member of the Villa Rica Design team, and found out recently that the little park in the middle of town (the little, bitty one, called Prospector Park) used to be where Villa Rica had concerts. Then they outgrew it and made the Mill Amphitheatre, where they do wonderful things all year. Meanwhile, the little park still is available to rent for $50 a night. It has a smaller stage and electricity. Im musing about the possibilities of getting groups of musicians one night to play (soloists and groups), then invite all our friends and family and FB contacts to come. Let me know what you guys think about that, and how we could go about making that happen. I considered having a few evenings at our home (which is in downtown V.Rica) where we could all bring our instruments, music and have a few jam sessions to culminate in a performance night at the park. Thoughts?
