I have spent the majority of my life working in a plant or power plant or paper mill. I have almost died at work and seen many fires and explosions and accidents. I have worked 700 feet in the air and 300 feet underground and come home dirty and tired countless times. I have planned work and supervised and been a safety person on many jobs. When I tell you it struck home hearing about an explosion today at a facility that I have worked in and similar to where I work now I am speaking from my heart. God please bless those involved and open the eyes of those who work or manage facilities that have dangerous products or hazardous chemicals. We make our living ensuring that our folks go home like they came in, just a little tired with a few dollars and pride in our work to show for it. So sorry for all involved, God Bless each and every one of them from the bottom of my heart.
