I have started typing a post many times in the last 24 hours about the tragedy that has happened in our town. Words cannot express how I feel and yet I feel foolish and silly being as sad as I am. Yes, I had had friendships with several of the men at some point in junior high or high school, but that was a long time ago. My grief is just a fraction of what the families of these fallen men feel, what right to I have to publicly mourn them? My prayers go to the families of all 19 men, specifically go to my cousin Leah who lost her fiancé, and her sister, my other cousin, Angela and her husband who lost his brother. He leaves behind a beautiful young family. I have many great memories of Andrew from junior high and high school. And prayers for Carmen, who lost her brother. My the Lord be with you all through this difficult time.
