I have to brag a little... Our son Kevin needed pie... That started it... Then I found a big spiral ham... candied it, what goes with that? Scalloped potatoes of course.... Jesse Pennington and I decided garlic steamed broccoli and dinner rolls would taste real fine in addition. So the boys watered this afternoon (watering here is 800 gallons, about 7 stock tanks worth, very time consuming and lots of hose dragging) and James Pennington did extra outside farm chores so Roy Linkenhoker could come home and relax since hes not feeling real well tonight. Talk about scrumptious meal! To top it off, I just finished cleaning the kitchen and putting left overs away and you cant even tell we had a HUGE family meal tonight. Stephanie Lee Sunderland and Kevin Linkenhoker (they are room mates with Kevs girl friend, Katie and Steven B. Adcox) have lots of sandwich ham in their fridge tonight too (we have a good amount left in our fridge too & I have a Togo container ready for Thomas Hunt and Mariah Sorrels as well). We eat good every night. But its nice to have an extra special spread and use the good serving dishes sometimes too. With all this wind the warmth from the oven and baking all day with the wonderful aromas seam to heat up the soul. Im really hoping that all this wind dies down. Mike Scott Sunderland and I want to get some Ferdinan ground driving time in now that his shoulder is allowing him more mobility. :) need to get that cow driving good before snow so we can Christmas Carol with him in the sleigh.
