I have to post this to all my book enthusiast friends and family here on Facebook. Maybe some of you already even know of this and envy the owner. I think this may close the book in terms of the possibly greatest private library ever. This is known as The Library of the History of the Human Imagination. Built by and designed by Jay Walker, an American entrepreneur and inventor, the design is inspired by the paintings of M.C. Escher. It is 3 stories high, 3,600 square feet, and houses 50,000 books and many rare/interesting artifacts. Including an actual Sputnik Satellite, dinosaur fossils, a page from an original Gutenberg Bible, and even a flag that went to and returned from the moon on Apollo 11. Truly impressive by anyones standards, wouldnt you say? I just read about in, watched a video on it, and Im in total awe of it.
