I have to say, Im quite proud of myself. I took a cruise with unlimited food possibilities, bread and dessert offered at every meal, and elevators. I didnt falter once and I took the stairs 90% of the time. I ate a cheese plate every night for dessert and didnt eat even one bite of bread or traditional desert. And I didnt feel like I was missing anything at all. If I gained any weight at all I will be shocked. I also have a crazy story to tell. One night after dinner, I was reading on my phone the 14th deck. When I was done I put the phone on my chest and enjoyed looking up at the beautiful stars. After a time, we decided to go get changed out of our dinner attire and into swim suits for the hot tub on the Serenity deck. I stood up... Forgetting my phone was on me... Only remembering after I heard two thuds. The first was my phone hitting the deck. The second was my phone hitting the side of the ship and going overboard. My heart sank. The only thing I cared about at first were all the photos I had taken. Then Chris said You just lost a $500 iPhone into the ocean and all you care about are selfies?! He made a good point. Then I started to panic, down on my knees, in my blue dress almost in tears I realized there was a small lip and also one of the rescue boats right under so there was a glimmer of hope. Chris asked random cruisers if they had their cell phones on them so we could use their flashlight. It was so dark we couldnt see anything. Thankfully, my phone was laying there in the lip!!!! He promptly took it from me and wouldnt give it back lol whew!!
