I have to say this based on what I read this evening. Robin did seek help. He had illnesses of addiction and depression. Sometimes there really is nothing you can do. No one to blame; the pain is just too big. Too big to realize that in despair there was still hope and still tomorrow. That someone, a world of someones, really cared more about him than he was able to care about himself. I remember a movie he was in years ago about a schizophrenic homeless man who was fearful of a black knight that would appear and try to kill him. Each time some one would beat him up or rob him that apparition would appear. It would vanish each time a friend stepped in. Until lastly he was there at a time that no friend was available. Depression and addiction are a wilderness. Dry and barren and parched and deceptive. It twists reality in ways we cannot fathom. It isnt about some one who loves the person tellling them that there is hope tomorrow.. It is about the inability to comprehend the meaning of hope, tomorrow, and the words I want you to live so badly because I will miss you and my life will be a sadder place with out you. Prayers for his family tonight. May Gods comfort and peace surround you in your time of loss.
