I have to share a lighthearted moment from today! When we were gathering people around grandpa because Steve Branham was going to anoint and pray for Grandpa, I overheard someone say Steve is gonna pray for TW followed by our Stevie to which someone said if our Stevie Prays we might get to eat Roasted lamb because God will send lightening down on the Black Sheep. It was said in jest and I just had to chuckle: I am thankful that within the emotional roller coaster and the tears and conversations...there can still be humor even if it is at my expense because I know, my grandpa, spent a vast majority of his life doing one of three things...Ministering, fishing, or making people laugh, sometimes even at his own expense. I love you grandpa and right now I am appreciative of the gift of your humor that your shared so willingly through the years. On a side note, Grandpa loved some of the early shows including Andy Griffith, the Waltons and HeeHaw. As a part of how he would pick on people grandpa would write verses sang to the tune of HeeHaw and play them on his Mandolin and entertain. He loves God, and truly enjoyed sharing Gods love by way of his love with hurting people, and sometimes that was even through his humorous HeeHaw renditions. Precious memories of that! If anyone who is on this page had a heehaw tune written about them will you please post the verse if you know it or if not, just share with us that you had a verse written about you or someone you know!
