I have to share this. Qs second grade teacher. Hi Quinny, I looked for you at dismissal yesterday and I am sorry I missed you. I just wanted to tell you that I remember your mom like it was only an hour ago that I saw her. I remember those big brown eyes and beautiful dark hair. I can hear in my mind her voice...exactly the way she talked. But what I remember most is how she loved you. Every time we talked about you her face was lit up. You were her FAVORITE subject to discuss. I remember the day she came to school when she was very sick, to see something you had done in second grade. I am sure you were the best medicine for your mom and I could tell she was so excited to be at school! The best part of seeing her that day was giving her a hug. I am lucky to have so many reminders of your mom around me. I see her in your face. You really look like her but not the same hair...ha ha ha! I see her every time your grandma pulls up in the back lot at dismissal. I dont get to see your dad very often but when I do, your mom is right along side him in my mind. I havent seen your grandpa for a while. He is such a neat guy. Will you tell him I said hello? I heard a minister say Death comes and goes, but love stays. I know how much I miss your mom. It must be way harder for you. But she really is still here because love stays. Hugs,
