I have to tell you this because its so amazing what a change I have made in my life. Just two short years ago I would have been getting out of Empire (my old job) at about 330, and headed to Shooters Tavern, where I would tend bar from 4 to about 2AM. I wouldnt see Sophia from the time I left for work until she woke up the next morning. I was working, working, working, and literally running in circles, getting no where. Just getting up every day, getting our morning routine done as fast as possible, going to work, coming home and doing it all over again the next day. Plus working my second job on Thursday, Friday and Saturday night. I was 30 pounds heavier, depressed, and wondering what the heck had happened. Fast forward to today. I woke up at 3:50 this morning with no alarm clock. Not because I couldnt sleep, but because I went to bed at a decent hour last night and was just ready to wake up. I went down stairs and out to the garage and set up for my booty campers. I ran two classes and then went inside and made Sophia and I a healthy omelet, packed bags, and drove Sophia to school. Not because I had to, but because she asked if I could and I said ABSOLUTELY. Then I came home and ran my 9AM class. After that I ran some laundry, and checked in on a few things with my online health and fitness business. I had coffee with a friend at My Coffee House and helped her make a decision that will be absolutely life changing for her, donated some items to the Salvation Army Store, ran my car through the car wash, and then came home cleaned the inside of my car, did some house cleaning and then got Sophia off the bus. Im just now sitting down. Its 4:30 pm. Ive poured myself a glass of wine, and instead of just wanting to shut down for the rest of the night, Im sitting down to answer messages and fill in the spreadsheet for my Biggest Loser Holiday Challenge. Not because I have to, but because I WANT TO. I get so much joy out of helping people. I get so much joy out of sharing this business and how it has changed my life. I get so much joy out of getting the thank yous and the you have helped me so much your posts are so inspiring! Im sure youve heard the statement find something you love, and you will never work a day in your life. Well, Ive found it. This doesnt feel like work to me. It feels like fun. I cant thank God enough for smacking me in the face with this business and making me sit up and pay attention.
