I have two friends who are foreign nationals that have recently received American citizenship. One is from Mexico and the other from Nigeria. (Both have lived in this country for years). They were both so excited about the event. It was a cause for celebration for them and their families. I was also reminded today that Cubans are still escaping and coming to this nation in boats - at great peril. Again, its all a matter of perspective... #grateful
