I have two new fosters. Approximately 6 months old. Possible English spot mixes. They are brothers who are not fixed. I started in a small pen to see if they were litter box trained and they seem to be doing well so this evening I opened up into a bigger pen while I cleaned their pen out and after a bit of exploring and pooping one of them started mounting the other. The other did not seem to care but I believe I am supposed to break that up before it gets worse? Do I need to separate them until they get fixed or is it okay because the other one doesnt seem to mind? They have been eating and drinking and grooming and resting side by side most of the time today.
