I have weird views. I know this. Im not Democrat or Republican. I zig zag left and right as I navigate political issues. I voted for Obama. Then I voted for Romney. I love people. In my daily life I will do the dirty work; I will do whatever it takes to get people closer to their dreams. I hate poverty and suffering. I consider myself a good person. For years I have listened to Fox-Newsers spew hate and fear-driven BS from their idols like Glenn Beck and Ann Coulter... and for just as many years I have tolerated the same hate and fear-driven garbage from liberal friends who feast only on Daily Kos and Huffington Post. I have smiled and prayed and tried to keep my mouth shut. ...Take the higher road. ...Just dont respond. Over the years, when I have engaged, I have discovered that I, evidently, live in a glass house, am a drooling idiot and am a laughable, close-minded Bible-thumper. ALL OF MY views are ill-informed, simple-minded and ridiculous. To that, I have smiled and turned away. IM TIRED OF IT. Screw you. If you dont like my views, dont read them. If you want to have a CONVERSATION about it, lets have one. But if you call names, get rude or tell me Im misguded... UNFRIEND ME... PLEASE UNFRIEND ME! I will NOT unfriend you. You know why??? Because I LOVE YOU. I RESPECT YOU. I believe you are smart and have a right to your opinion and will fight to the death for you to be able to express it. I believe God loves you DEEPLY and I want to reflect Him to you in MY behavior and my love for you. I honor conversation that helps us BOTH grow. If you think you are RIGHT and you have NO room for others to be who they are... move on. NONE OF US ARE RIGHT. Each one of us is a small little insignificant blip of a person living in a minuscule fragment of a moment in time... our only hope is to embrace each other, love one another and find a common ground. If this isnt something you are interested, please self-select out. Gloves are off.
