I havent been on Facebook in nearly 3 weeks, yes Im still alive, Lol. Simply had no desire to get on and have been busy with work. But anyway, this is whats on my heart - our job isnt to convince people to accept Jesus as their Savior. It feels like that is what the main goal of Christianity is becoming - use any tactic, any combination of words to scare people away from hell and into repentance. That has never been my approach and never will be. I tell people about Jesus and what He has done for all of us - but to beg you to accept Him? To go over the top with hell to try to scare you into accepting Him? No thanks. I know the intentions are good, but Jesus isnt a car that were trying to sell. You either love Him or you dont. You either regret your sin or you dont. Convince you to accept Jesus? God forbid. It takes a deep love, a deep desire, a warrior that will not give up. Lay the Truth out there and those people will run to Jesus. Trying to convince people will draw in half hearted, luke warm hypocrites that only accepted Jesus because we were so persistent and so they finally half heartedly gave in. Jesus is the convincer, we just need to lay out the truth and He will do the rest.
