I hear it all the time; theres nothing to do in Sacramento... I disagree, but I do understand how hard it is to provide positive outlets for people to have a good time and how imperative it is to support those worthwhile activities when they do come into fruition. So here you have it, an opportunity to support a venue that has been holding it down and giving the people everything from spoken word, to comedy, to blazing hot vocals for 15 years straight. How can you support? 1) Go to the Mahogany Poetry page (mahoganypoetry), click on the link for the IndieGoGo campaign, and donate like you mean it to allow Mahogany to bring you a celebration like never before in honor of 15 years of spoken word in Sacramento..... 2) Come back to the Mahogany Poetry page (mahoganypoetry) and click on the link for the Poetry Contest to get an opportunity to immortalize your work in the official Mahogany Fifth Poetry competition. 3) Come back to the Mahogany Poetry page and kick your feet up, look around, check out whats coming up and support.... 4) Spread the word!!!!
