I helped my grandmother decorate her tree today. These two ornaments were added when I was born and when I was in the first grade. More than three decades of love and memories have left these ornaments cracked, frayed, smashed, and tarnished but they are still proudly displayed on her tree. How blessed am I that my precious grandmother treats is just like these ornaments. We may be cracked and tarnished and yet all she sees is love and years of precious memories and cherishes us all the same. Even today when I told her of Calebs great report card so she could congratulate him, she started by congratulating me on taking time to make sure he excelled and told me she was as proud of me. Many things time and disease may take from her. Moments like that they cannot take from me. #greatlyblessed #familytime #tradition
