I hit a very hard wall tonight when Sophia told me she didnt want to walk. I completely melted down in the other room and when I got myself fairly under control I went back in to her room to finish stretching her cause its just not in my nature to give up. She says to me mommy are you sad? I said yes and my angel says I want to give you a hug to make you feel better And a kiss too! She then told me she was sorry that I was so sad. I told her she was such a blessing to me and I felt so much better after crying profusely at the sweetness of her words. Im so thankful that God gave her those beautiful words to say to me and make me realize that there are many things to be thankful for in her progress but as my fellow specials needs moms and regular parents know too, it can be so frustrating when some things dont get better and some worsen. Im trying real hard to hang onto those good things in my dark moments and I hope you will too. If its really bad, let me know and Ill bring Sophia over to give you a hug. They are magical!
