I hold that there are moderate and diverse Muslims, but there is no moderate Islam. I feel that the single most important thing thats holding Muslims back from a true reformation is this belief in the inerrancy of scripture. Even mainstream moderate and liberal Muslims still believe that their holy book is the perfect word of God. I always tell many of those who focus most of their energy on bashing atheists and critics of Islam, to redirect their energy to those who are actually doing the killing on a daily basis.
