I hope everyone is enjoying their evening (or day : ) We are going to post another one. Hopefully we will be caught up by tomorrow evening. Thank you for your patience! My SD will be 13 in a couple of days. She is having her party tomorrow. Her dad recently underwent surgery so he cant lift more than 10 lbs. His doctor says to be up and moving. He takes this as lie in bed. So I have to shop for and set this party up. Then Im informed there will be 6 young girls spending the night too. Hubby says he wants to give this to the kid because her mom wont contribute or probably show up. My issue: Im the one minding child and her 6 friends. Plus our 2. I found out she was having an overnight when he asked the child in front of me to pick a number between 1 and 10. When I said something about it I got a I just want to do something nice for my kid I was impulsive he refuses to include me on the discussion for anything I have to do. Even better example: I was never asked or requested but he told me his plans for watching his daughters half brother for the summer...Whos mom wont contribute wont pay babysitting wont call and say when he wont be there... I cant even properly word my anger properly... Do I have the right to be upset? Am I being unreasonable and this is the job of a step mom and Im not doing it right?
