We’re building a small float and going to the Cattle Call Parade Saturday, Nov. 8th! If you’d like to help construct the float see Kurt Leptich for more info. We also have cold “Living Water” bottles available for anyone to come by the church to give away at parks, work, neighbors, sporting events, or anywhere with people! And, the O-Team is headed to the Brawley Farmer’s Market to set up a VBC booth! Sunday School News! There will be a “pancake breakfast block party”, the morning after the Outreach Team has been to the Farmer’s Market, to kickoff Bible Study! Also, Jackie Anderson, Sunday School Dept. Chair, is going to have regularly scheduled meetings with the teachers. Next meeting is Nov. 23rd at 8:30am. Awards and prize bags are coming soon to the children’s classrooms! This year’s joint Thanksgiving Service will be held Tuesday, November 25th at 7:00pm. Valley Baptist Church is scheduled to provide desserts as we head down to El Centro Central Baptist Church to fellowship. See signup sheet in the Foyer. PRAYER REQUEST UPDATE: Sherry Muse would like to thank her church family for all the prayers and support she, and her family, has received since the passing of her step-father, Tom Wright, earlier this week.
