❄☁❄I just LOVE winter! ❄☁❄ Took me 3 weeks to get a doctor appointment for my wrist (cant grip or bend right for over a month now....incredibly painful) I was so happy to finally get it looked at! Well it decided to snow today!!!! Left for Peru on time. ... Made it less then 5 miles out of Yorkville and it all just dumped on 71 at once. Even the semis were doing 25mph. There were 2 cars already in the ditch and I started feeling a fishtail just past the second one. Slid into center. ... got control. ... got back to my lain..... 2 min later almost happened again. Pulled over in Newark to rest and calm my blood pressure back down. But when I tried to get back on 71 couldnt get through the snow that had built up over the exit. Took it as a sign to chill out here till the snow stops and they have a chance to clear the roads. Glad I did. Trooper came in 20 min later and said that further down the road were 3 more bad accidents. Ill never know if they were the cars near my spot in line. ... But i am glad I dont! Trust your instincts!
