I just celebrated my 10th wedding anniversary to my wonderful husband, Rob this month, and in February of this year, I celebrated my 21st anniversary working for Bioelements Professional Skin Care, which was founded in Chicago, IL. back in 1991. Began in sales, and then over the years realized my passion was for teaching. Now as Director of Education, I have the honor of mentoring professional estheticians and educators that have chosen the Esthetics Industry as their career and passion. I know that my 8 years as a student at St. Angelas (back in the 1970s) taught me discipline, respect for others and appreciation for life, hard work and what being unique can do for your life. Children need to be taught the value of being themselves, instead of blending in. It makes you memorable, and will take you much further in life. In part, I have St. Angelas to thank for having a job that I love going to every day. I want to give thanks for the special nuns that taught during my time there. Sister Ellen Katherine, who was one of the sweetest and most compassionate women Ive ever known, Sister Joseph Ellen, whos years of piano lessons helped me realize that music is such an important part of life...Sister Ann Lucille...I truly loved that woman...Each one a quiet mentor that gave me the life skills and a love of learning that is with me today. Thanks, St. Angela, for creating the foundation that helped one quiet little girl realize her dreams!
