I just dealt with this yesterday (the Biggest Alpha vs. Alpha Commander). It took me what felt like 2 minutes to break them up (inebriated sense of time...obvious reasons), using a chokehold & kicking the attacker off & a chainlink door to separate. They are using water. They are hitting them, thrashing at them. Lol, I laugh only because *they gon learn today* wtf Pits are about. Heres how to avoid this: CHOKE CHAINS work GREAT! Not prong collars, youll do more damage in a fight with prong collars rather than choke chains. A LARGE/THICK leather collar is also irreplaceable when it comes to handling/control of their wild bodies, but the choke chain has got to be clear of it to work pproperly (thick collars also provide for good neck & juglar pprotection). Dont be afraid to get bit, accept going in that you will be & its going to hurt. And dont scream at them, they cant hear you (until after they separate). Lmao @ water. TAKE THEIR AIR!!! Choke them with your arms & take away their foot-control, bring their head off the ground & count to THIRTY, itll be over by then. After they disengage, use your feet to kick the other dog off if you dont have anyone to pull the other away. Skin-tears usually heal & close within a week, deep-muscle punctures and tears take 2 weeks to heal & another 2 to regrow to original strength. Animal Antibiotics (search for fishmoxfishflex) can be purchased online without a perscription. If a vein has been bitten you or the dogs will experience blood pressure fluctuations & will most likely feel dizzy, cold, or have to throw up. Adrenaline takes about 2-4 hours to conpletely phase out of your system, so in that time you & your pal need to *relax*. *Be Prepared* for this situation by watching fights online, its no comparison seeing them face to face, but they fight more fiercely than any human ever did on the street or the ring, they move faster than anyone youve ever tried to catch, & they do more damage & have more tearing power than any sharp object you can produce or imagine. Remember: they can not keep fighting if they do not have air to fight with.
