I just did a little calc for DBZ speed based on the infamous MFTL ship trip to Namek which Kaioh, meanwhile he showed himself incapable of following Goku vs Frieza: Milky Way is 100,000+ lightyears, assuming ship travelled half of that = 50,000 lightyears 50,000 lightyears = 600,000 lightmonths = 18,250,000 lightdays = 438,000,000 lighthours = 26,280,000,000 lightminutes = 1,576,800,000,000 lightseconds Ship took 10 days to cross this distance (that or 7, I dont recall it properly atm tbh) Results give 1,826,281.8 the speed of light needed to cross this distance in a 10 day timeframe (used this to get the result since my head was hurting so I used something to asure me I was getting it correctly) facebook/l.php?u=http%3A%2F%2Fcalculatoredge%2Fcivil%2520engg%2520calculator%2Fspeed%2520Distance%2520Time.htm&h=0AQFLby84 So how does this make Goku vs Frieza FTL? Easy, Kaioh couldnt follow Frieza and Gokus speed while he could follow the ships movement. Now, taking into account the size difference ratio, overblowing the size of the ship and assuming its 1,000,000 square Gokus still give us aproximately x2 LS requiere for him to be too fast for Kaioh to follow. I used Milky Way as reference since a) Frieza references it when he lands on earth and b) its our home galaxy thus its used as default. I also further low-balled it to half for any slight error in the visual representation of DBU. Snake Way and other places looking giant doesnt have significance, its just highlighting spots worth noting since theyd be invisible in there normal size (otherwise Snake Way is thicker than any star system and as long as 1/3rd of the universe since we know the 4 galaxies are contained in the portion below as referenced in every DBU map). We also know this is consistant travel in DBU since it is mentioned several times that several beings travel around the galaxy, in Ginga Patrol Jako its actually mentioned that theres a galactic federation with galactic patrol men which have to constantly travel back to HQ, which means theyd travel from places all over the galaxy to a specific spot, and this is done via ship not warping. Thus now we have a solid FTL feat even if ridiculously low-balled. If only DBZ mantained consistency with there feats :/
