I just dont understand this. Why are we cutting food stamps but keeping the huge tax cuts for big business? What is it about feeding children, the elderly, and the unemployed that offends Congress so much? Surely one of these CEOs can tell their Congressman that they can afford a smaller tax break so that others can eat? I am so looking forward to the day when we all stand in judgement before God and these stalwart members of Government have to explain how they refused to feed the needy. I want to be there when they tell Christ they cut Food Stamps in his name. I want to see what kind of lawyer they can get that will face Christ and try to argue that not feeding people is in keeping with his legacy. Man, that is going to be one heck of a barbecue.
