I just dont understand why we as a country are so concerned with how great we treat those that attempt and kill mass numbers of Americans. We even interview them on how they were treated and report it in the media like they were the helpless victim that we should feel bad for. All of this diminishes and takes away from the reality of their actions. These people that are so up in arms about torturing those that planned 9/11 are the same ones that will be up in arms the next terrorist attach happens and will say that our government was at fault because they dont protect us or they should have done this or that. Its a double edged sword. I dont think we should really care to much how those that have killed masses of people are treated. When you act without humanity and end the lives of masses of people, in my viewpoint you have lost your privilege to be treated humane. Now, the government lying about things is a whole other story because if you lie once, the likelihood that you will lie again is pretty high. Dishonesty is not acceptable however it does seem to be the norm in our government. I just dont know why we spent millions of dollars trying to figure out if we mistreated terrorists when they were captured.
