I just drove my 49.5cc scooter to the Tedeschis on Main Street in Charlestown. I went in bought a drink & when I came out was harassed by an older black cop in cruiser #0101. He asked if I had a license to drive my scooter & when I informed him that you dont need a license for it he demanded to see my ID. Having enough run ins with police in the past I knew things would turn bad if I didnt give him an ID so I handed it to him. I asked him what was his reason for stopping me in the first place & his answer was to see if I had a license. Last time I checked curiosity wasnt reason enough to harass someone. After answering ALL of his questions, a white male pulled up on a 150cc scooter & the cop didnt ask him anything or bother him. I asked him why he wasnt harassing the other guy too & his response while getting out of the cruiser was because Im getting something to eat. I waited outside the store to see if the cop questioned the other guy after getting something to eat, but instead he approached me & said the real reason he stopped me was because some homeless man was beat up a few days ago by TWO 56 Spanish guys. Im 6 with BLUE hair & not Spanish. He said he forgot why he stopped me while he was questioning me about having a license. I was harassed based on my appearance. I guess people with blue hair & tattoos dont have rights in Charlestown anymore.
