I just figured out I spent $5.75 on items and batting material and made my grandson 3 awesome presents. A cardinals tshirt turned into a comfy floor pillow, a spiderman fleece backpack that opens up into a cozy fleece blanket, and I got a spiderman sheet set at a yard sale for .75 and made it into a comforter and he still has the fitted sheet and pillowcase to match his comforter to go on his bed. Just a Lil extra time to look for these goodies at yard sales and the effort to sew them up. But seriously, I checked the stores and I saved about $70 by making this stuff. We need to get back to grass roots folks and quit making the corporate fat cats have fat wallets while we go into debt every year at xmas. I am going to add these ideas to my work and make some Bamas Rockin Comforters lol....
