I just finished the 12 song Christmas CD I have been producing/engineering/everything else-ing as a senior project for a kid from my church. It has been many months in the making but IT IS DONE. (Yes, I did it for free... family friend), but I might not have agreed if I realized how long it would take. I turned one piano and one pitchy HS kid with faulty timing into a fairly richly layered, sometimes almost symphonic soundscape. It is sooo cool what we can do with ears and modern tools. While its not professionally mastered, ($0.00 budget), its pretty well balanced, and despite the performance flaws, its pretty darn good for a HS student. Best part is hes selling them to raise money for our local cat adoption shelter. !!! I can finally go outside and play!!!
