I just finished watching Pain and Gain, with Mark Wahlberg and Dwayne Johnson. This was atypical for a Michael Bay film, in that it is a comedy, and is nearly explosion-free. Michael Bays influence does show up in the inordinate number of slow-motion shots, though. Dwayne Johnson does give one of the better acting performances of his career. All in all, the movie would have been better if a different director had been chosen. The utter insanity of the plot(based on true events,) would have been better handled by the Coen brothers.
