I just found 9 pirate sites that have my book. Nine. Legally, I have no right other than to report all nine sites to the appropriate government agency for further investigation. Just for the record, Amazon and Barnes and Noble are the only two sites I, the copyright owner and author, have authorized to sell Tristans Redemption. You know, its rather disconcerting knowing that someone (or in this case, 9 someones) can sit on their lazy butts and steal from my family, just by a few clicks on their computer. So Ill be spending the rest of my evening filling out reports, so that I can protect material that I have a copyright on, already. And these thieves likely wont even have any consequences to face. If these jackasses broke into my house and took money away from Paul, me or our boys, then that would be a jailable offense. However, theft of a digital product is not. If anyone in the government wants to impress me (and earn my vote forever), make this type of theft punishable by jail time.
