I just got a VERY urgent call from a man who claims he has ALL kinds of activity going on in his apartment in Someplace, R.I. He said photos were taken of the apparitions and I said I would like to see them to assess them objectively before proceeding further. Guess what I got for Christmas? Three photos of ghost apps. He seemed genuinely surprised (or a good actor) when I explained what this was. He also downloaded a ghost detector onto his phone and thought that was real too. I think the guy just got some bad information, so Im not going to beat him up over it. Maybe theres really something happening there and maybe not. The story seemed to build off his faux pictures and amateur ghost detection equipment though, so maybe its an example of how we can all fall victim to the technological hype (psychologically) at times.
