I just got a call from Publisher Clearing House. I was randomly - TopicsExpress

I just got a call from Publisher Clearing House. I was randomly selected and I won a 2014 Mercedes Benz and 1.5 million dollars. They said they were bringing the news team by my house this evening along with my new car and a super size check for publicity purposes but that I could either have my money all at once or in payments. They tell me the Mercedes is white with black leather interior and tell me a lot of other specials about the car. Then he tells me Ill need 3 things when they arrive with my car and money to get a pen and paper to write down my Package Code Number Now mind you while Im doing this Im looking up the number to PCH on the computer okay. So I write down the number he gives me then comes instruction #2. I must have a credible form of identification such as a drivers license. Okay, no problem there. Finally #3. I need to go to CVS, while he is on the phone with me and get a Green Dot Card. Well this puzzled me, Ive never heard of a Green Dot Card so he had to explain that to me. So while explaining he tells me that because I was randomly selected I only have to pay 1% tax on my winnings which comes to $225.00 and that has to be paid on a Green Dot Money Card that I will give to them when they deliver my prizes (the Mercedes & $1.5mil.) I tell him I have to change clothes & ask my neighbor for a ride. He says he will hold on. By this time I have PCH on the other phone and all I said to them is Theres someone on my other phone saying they are with PCH & Ive won a prize. he says Its a scam. Now, that quick statement from him sure raised my suspicions about PCH never really paying off on all those contests they advertise to begin with but thats another story. Anyway, he wanted me to give him some information so they could make a report and possibly catch the scammers so I gave him the number the call came from & all the information I had collected throughout the call then I got back on the other phone with the scammer & told him what Id done & that I knew he was trying to scam me. At first he denied it & asked if I wanted to relinquish my prizes or did I want to continue & receive them. I told him to go ahead and bring the car and the money and even the press if he wanted to and once I saw it was for real I would give him even more than the $225 he was requesting for taxes. He proceeded to call me a dirty name and tell me something vulgar I should do. I politely told him that wasnt very professional behavior for someone in public relations claiming to work for PCH. He grunted and hung up. Now it would have been a true blessing had it been true considering my car is currently out of commission leaving me with no way to get daddy around. The first thing I did was ask God, is this your doing? To some that may sound crazy but the Lord has done greater things in my life before so it wouldnt have surprised me, God is Good. But turns out it wasnt God this time. So beware my friends, if it sounds to good to be true...double check just to be sure remember, the devil is out to steal, kill and destroy. God bless you all!
