I just got back from this place. It was amazing. There are a few in Dallas and a quick google I saw a few in Houston, Austin & San Antonio. Might be worth looking into and see if there is a salt water float spa near you. adriftfloatspa/ I dont get the headaches much any more. My pain is mostly muscle, nerve & joint pain... all over wide-spread pain from permanent nerve damage and EDS. I always feel like I need to stretch, but I cant stretch far enough to do any good. This is a spa, each person gets their own private room. You first get into a shower and wash your hair and body... no lotions, deodorants, etc. The shower is a little bigger than what you would see on a cruise ship. Then the back wall of the shower is actually a door that opens up to a large bath tub of sorts. about 1 1/2 foot deep. Im 58 and the tub was as wide as my wingspan {I could touch the sides with my finger tips}.. and if I put my toes on the far wall and stretched my arms above my head I could barely touch the top wall. In that 1 foot of water... was 1,200 pounds of epsom salt. You couldnt drown if you wanted to. You can lay back and completely relax. Muscles let go of being overly tense and just relax. Bye Bye Pain! Im completely pain free right this minute. Cant wait to see how long this lasts.
