I just got in a while ago and was just thinking how much fun I had today with two skaters that are headed to Lincoln in a few short weeks. But I think really made me smile was the fact that the rink owner of Skateland in Augusta, GA has to be one of the niecest most supportive rink owners I have come across in a long time. Her session didnt start till 2pm today and she met us at the rink to let us in, she has the lights on and the air conditioning going for us. She even told us she was outside working if we needed her. I almost fell off the bench I was sitting on. At the end of practice she told us anytime we wanted to come back to email or give her a call she would make sure we were able to get in. This took me back to a time in my youth that rink owners and coaches worked together for the betterment of our sport. I must say that she is truly a supportor of competitive skating !
