I just got totally owned lunchtime by some OAP (85ish). Picture the scene - Stevenage Town Centre - Cash Converters - Cheap DVD wanted - Peter Kay one for a £1 - happy days, love Peter Kay. Anyway started queuing, after about 2 minutes some old boy (previously mentioned OAP) came up and stood next to me...not behind me. Then the sales lady said how can I help.....before I could say anything the old boy went no I was next....after a brief discussion I.e. no I was being returned like a tennis rally...I thought be the bigger man and let it go, so with the old boy being served and me now behind...I thougt that was it. Oh no he started ranting and raving at the top of his voice saying how rude I was, etc and the whole shop started starring at me not in a good way.....felt like the mob was closing in for a public lynching. Finally the old boy shut up and left the shop like Mr Big Shot...am sure I heard a ripple of applause..the G Man had been humilated.......oh the pain!! :-(
