I just had a wonderful meal at Dobbs Ferry on Gough St. Shannon, my server, was the same person who served me the last time I was there. ALL of her recommendations are spot on. I started with the octopus and she very sweetly turned me in a new direction for wine. It was perfect. I moved on to the lamb shank and its one of the best Ive ever had. Served with polenta and marscapone with crispy kale leaves, it cant be beat. And the Hahn Pinot Noir was the perfect accompaniment. (She even topped off after the bartender poured.) It was GREAT!!! Ill be back.
