I just have to share about a conversation Merlin A. Hansen and I had today. He was lying on his back, head under the sink, fixing something under the sink and access was really tough and he needed 3 hands (at least) to do it. So he asked me to help. The task involved putting two screws into the cabinet wall, and the location was almost unreachable. As the process progressed, the conversation went something like this: Him: I cant see the hole. Me: I think you can feel it. Him. I cant really reach it. Me: Let me see if I can help you get it in there. Him: I think Ive got it. Me: No, youre putting it in the wrong hole. Him: (Laughing) Can you help me put it in the right place? Me: (Also laughing) I cant reach it. Move over a few inches and then maybe I can reach it. I adjust location) Him: I think I got it in. Me: No, its crooked. Me again: Wait. (Bursting into serious laughter) I think if I straddle you I can get it in because then Ill be able to reach it with both hands. Finally we got the screw into the right place and I went out to do something else. When I came back: Him: I got it in, but I dont think its long enough. Me: (Sighing) Well, Im satisfied.
