I just heard on the radio this morning that the FDA has passed legislation and the courts upheld it requiring beef sellers to provide information to consumers disclosing where the cow was born, raised, and processed. I would assume this would apply to poultry and pork as well. That means that we require positive identification of our ribeyes and hamburgers, but not for our voters! And on a side note, if the law does not require the information on poultry and pork, wouldnt that be discriminatory?
