I just heard that Prof. Shehu Jimoh is gone. - DEAN OF STUDENT AFFAIRS, UNIVERSITY OF ILORIN- 2004. He will always be remembered for so many good reasons. Death..the only immortal who treats us all alike whose pity and whose peace and refuge are for all. I worked closely with a humble, honest and disciplined Dean of Students. He saw through the sincerity of our agitation. Though helpless and constrained by the circumstance of that time, Professor Shehu Jimoh never denied us of our humanity. He constantly muttered something to me.... for the general good. Better a thousand times to die with glory than to live without honour. I wish Professor Shehu Jimoh a perfect transition to eternal rest. Rest in peace.
