I just left Tripler Army Medical Center because my youngest - TopicsExpress

I just left Tripler Army Medical Center because my youngest granddaughter is there because her water broke. She have a baby girl at the same hospital where her father was born. What is amazing, we experienced a Gods baby shower. We are on a military base and when families no longer need something, it is not unusual for perfectly good items to be put on the sidewalk for the taking. We got high chairs, boaster chair, stroller toddler toys. A friend whose son-in-law is military gave us two bags of baby girl clothes from premie to 3 months plus three brand new toddler dresses plus diapers, Similac, and baby food. We have a great thrift story of base that is very cheap. From there we got a beautiful $150 bassinet for $10, two swings, walker, two play pens, and baby blankets, changing table, organizing shelves, baby bath and blankets. Yesterday, they had some vintage baby clothes like the ones that Heather, her older sister and Helena wore when they were babies. Before the next door neighbor moved to their next duty station, she sold me a mini crib that later can become a twin bed and gave my granddaughter 18 pairs of girl shoes from infant to toddler. The baby will have two places to live. There is a furnished baby girls bedroom at the dad-to-bes house. The father-in-be has gone to all of my granddaughters appointments and trips to the hospital and has stayed all night and is doing so tonight. His father is very thrilled at the birth of a grand baby. He had his one and only child late in life and thought he was never see grandchild. Everything was ready for the baby girl months ago. God has been in charge of what she needs. She is going to be a very special baby.
